P-Duke Technology Launches High Power Design Medical AC/DC Power Supplies

P-Duke Technology has launched its latest 180W high density medical AC/DC power supplies.

Power supplies are EIC/EN/ANSI 60601-1 certified and are available in 2 x 3 inch open frame versions or optional boxed versions and DIN rail versions with a universal input range of 85 to 264 Vac and also support 120 -370Vdc input range, according to P-Duke. This series provides a single output voltage of 12, 15, 18, 24, 28, 36, 48, 53 Vdc. The output voltage can be easily adjusted up to ±8% with the built-in potentiometer.

P-Duke lists protection functions for: overvoltage protection (latching mode); overcurrent protection (hiccup mode and auto-recovery); short-circuit protection (continuous and self-recovery); and overheat protection (detected by internal thermistor; hiccup mode and auto-recovery).

The MAD180 series features long life electrolytic capacitors, efficiencies up to 94%, 0.95 power factor correction, 150mW max no load power consumption and IEC protection types class I and class II. The power supplies can operate at an altitude of up to 5000m and with its superior performance at an operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C.

MAD180 power supplies have been certified according to the following standards:

  • Safety approvals: IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 and IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1
  • Conducted emissions: EN 55032 Class B
  • Radiated emissions: EN 55032 Class A

The product warranty is 5 years.
